The Earth Monkeys Band are a NY/NJ based band that play a particularly funky brand of Classic Rock and Soul, with an eclectic mix of styles and genres that always make for an entertaining night of music! 

The Earth Monkeys Band are:

Frank Diorio: Drums

Brian LaRocque: Bass and Vocals

Peter Beckett: Lead Guitar and Vocals

Terry Lin: Keyboards, Rhythm Guitar, Vocals

The Earth Monkeys have strong roots in the New York/New Jersey music scene and have been known to cover a wide array of music from the Classic Rock and Blues bof the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Stevie Ray Vaughan to the Funk and Soul of James Brown and Steely Dan and everything in between.

Earth Monkeys front man and former Motown recording artist Terry Lin has worked and recorded with a variety of musical legends like Reggae great Bunny Wailer and Godfather of House Music Frankie Knuckles, and his interview and video of Van Morrison's "Crazy Love" was featured on CNN worldwide. 

Drummer Frank Diorio has played in comedian Andrew “Dice” Clay’s touring band, and has been a sideman for Felicia Collins (guitarist for “Late Night with David Letterman”). 

Frank is famous for always being right in the pocket and for driving the band with a powerful and relentless groove!

Guitarist Peter Beckett has worked with bass legend Marcus Miller, as well as being a great session player. Both Peter and Frank were in Peter Beckett’s fusion band, Magic Pill.

Bassist Brian LaRocque studied extensively with Gary Van Scyoc, veteran session man, and bassist for John Lennon in both Elephant’s Memory and the Plastic Ono Band. 

Brian possesses the unique ability to see the potential in musical arrangements, and to help bring it to life, an essential talent that keeps the Earth Monkeys tight and on point!

Brian, Pete and Frank were all veterans of the eclectic band PH101, and have played together in other local bands like Legal Tender and The Rockit Surgeons. Their years of experience playing together has melded perfectly with Terry's skills to make the Earth Monkeys a formidable force to be reckoned with!
